Hazbin Hotel's Showrunner Has Seen Your Second Season Bingo Cards — And She Has Positive Updates

The much-anticipated Season 2 of the adult animated musical series Hazbin Hotel arrives on Prime Video this week, and audience theories has been widespread.

The first season presents a diverse group of characters residing in the afterlife, pits them against each other accompanied by songs detailing their conflicts, and builds heated competitions and emotional bonds that drive fan obsession.

The community's expectations for season 2 differ greatly, but certain themes emerge over and over: Could a fan-favorite character escape his tormentor? Might we learn more about the mysterious "deal" constraining Alastor the Radio Demon? Might certain characters' relationships evolve?

"Obviously, I don't make the show with audience demands as the main goal," the creator stated recently. "But I feel like me being a devotee of the series means there's a lot of it just inherently. I also am eager for these things, and I want some of these things to occur, and obviously some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

She reveals her big-picture plan is for a five-season run of Hazbin Hotel. Seasons 3 and 4 have already been green-lit by Prime Video and A24, which produce the series.

That could imply fans have to be patient for some of the major resolutions — but they may be surprised at how quickly the new season progresses, and how many of what they're waiting for unfolds now.

"I believe people are going to get a lot out of it," she adds. "We get some firsts. I think we get some really amazing disclosures, some really cool origin tales, and even just simple things, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] Audiences will experience additional musical numbers from the characters we didn't get to hear before."

The creator is well-informed of the guesses and hopes about season 2 — especially in the form of fan bingo cards.

"I've come across a couple people make a prediction grid about the new season," she mentions. "Naturally I can't post it, but I've actually done a few items, and almost all of them have almost a bingo. I was like, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that leads me to believe we do a lot [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I was like, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that brings me joy."

Hazbin Hotel season 2 premieres on Prime Video on October 29.
